It was during dinner when my 4 year old daughter suddenly asked my husband where the mashed potato came from. He patiently explained to her that those potatoes were shipped from Idaho. Since then she has been bugging us to go to Idaho and see how potatoes grow. Eating mashed potatoes almost every day piqued my curiosity too. I joined in my daughter’s plea and appealed to my husband that we must take a vacation there. Just recently, we had our dream came true. We took the drive from Winnipeg, Manitoba to one of the vacation spots. I was surprised to discover how little I know of the state. The scenery was breathtakingly magnificent!
